Part Time Case Manager/Family Therapist/Addictions Specialist for Homeless Services Program

A  Faith Based Christian organization has an immediate opening for a Part Time Case Manager/Therapist to provide strengths based case management services to our Homeless Services consumers/clients and have the qualifications to provide therapeutic services. The case manager/therapist position will work with our permanent scattered site program participants and drug and alcohol counseling programs. 

The case management services include assisting program participants with securing scattered site transitional and permanent housing sites which may include searching for landlords that are willing to serve our program participants with affordable housing units.
The consumers are referred to collaborating agencies for needed services.

This position requires a professional that understands poverty and has a strong sense of self for the endurance needed to accept change readily and yet bring closure and completion to any task.  Having the ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary, multi tasking team along with the skills and experience in organization, file maintenance, professional documentation and timely record keeping are the administrative skills needed to be successful.  

Clinical skills needed for this position are one-on-one screening, interviewing/counseling, knowledge in addictions/family therapy.  Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills are beneficial.

Qualification: Master degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health/Psychology Services field.
